Regular events to ask about
There's a guided bird walk on the first Saturday of every month, free with tips welcome. Dates and the meeting place can change, so ask your host to check the next one before you go.
There's also a Saturday flea market at Henk van Rooyen Park, on the river at the corner of Crocodile and Maroela streets. Ask your host whether it's on before you go.
The Tin Shack at Marlothi Shopping Centre has a darts night every Thursday, and bos. at the Bush Centre has live music some evenings. Both are on the restaurants page.
